Five of Swords - What about the hilts?

I'm sitting here looking through the Book of Thoth, reading up on the 5 Swords - and unless I'm missing something here, it doesn't mention what is on the sword hilts at all, let alone that the snake is asleep lol (Maybe his eyes are shut )

The five of swords conflict reaches its peak and trust in reality has been destroyed.
