1) Samhain Deck of the Bastard, 2nd ed. (seven stars)
- Seven's most excellent interpretation of a vintage deck, with elements of: Egyptiens fortune telling, Dame's deck, RWS, Etteilla, Grande Jue, Soprafino and Sola Busca influences (I think).
2) JW Waterhouse oracle (seven stars)
Oops - that's an oracle deck! I love it!
3) Tarot Therapy deck (Steve Hounsome)
- every card is a nature photograph. I'm not likely to ever be able to read for someone else with it (never say never) - but it becomes a perfect meditation deck for myself. Wonderfully transports me to the essence of nature.
4) Everyman Tarot (John Mangiapane)
- Black and white version. Such fun!

I decided this year that I would only buy decks I wanted if I came across them physically. First shop I looked in, Noah's Arc, Lismore, had the Hermetic. Number one on my list of wanted decks. Had to go away and think about it over lunch but had to have it.
