The Rabbit Tarot

AJ

that's way cute. no pip cards shown in any of the images, so one can only assume they are plain..?

It is way cute!

I found some links in my quest to determine whether or not the pips are illustrated.

Looks like the author's site or blog:

Her flickr site, which shows some images, including one of her standing in front of the cards. There appear to be a lot of illustrated cards in that pic, so perhaps there are illustrated minors?

Daisies equal Pentacles. This looks like a possible Minors pic, maybe the Nine of Pentacles:

Here are some more that look like pips:

Cute set! I wonder how they are printed. I prefer them mass-printed versus self-printed, as they seem to shuffle better when they don't have that thick laminate on them.

I think they are self published..i am asking.. I saw on her twitter when she got the decks in from the printer etc...

Bernice

I see the suits are fully illustrated RW style, except, as you say they are named = Stick, Tulip, Carrot & Daisy.

A whimsical deck, I like the rabbits, and the card size. But not fond of the big black borders. I wonder what the card-stock is like?

This is what she tweeted back.

yes, self published (professionally printed), a different image for each tarot card. It took me 8 months to paint it all!

Bernice

I looked at the links you posted, lovely artwork, the sort I like.

Those are absolutely adorable!
I think I have to have those!

Here is another pip; cute! With carrots!

And a way to win a free copy of the Rabbit Tarot. Apparently she is doing a giveaway!

I, too, would like to know more about the card stock. I have one hand-made deck, and while it is cute, I can't read with it. Plus I have the Hello Tarot, and again, you can't shuffle those cards. So yes, the card stock would matter.

I didn't have anything like them, and couldn't wait... so this new deck is on its way! I should have them by the end of next week, hopefully. I love the playful art, and am willing to gamble on the card stock.
