mamluk cars found on internet

Dear mamluk threaders,

I collected all images of mamluk deck that i could find on Internet, and i uploaded here:

https://sites.google.com/site/tarotforras/mamluk

Unfortunately I found only 31 cards from 56, thus 25 is missing.

Personally i would like to paint a simple card series and before I wanted to examine the mamluk pages as the origin of marseille tarot. Can anyone help? I saw it is a very expensive deck costs $1000 or more - so i can't buy it.

Thanks for anyone to help.

I can tell you that none of the cards have depictions of humans on them, so connecting the court cards to TdM may be difficult.

Yes - I just would like to make symbolic cards for minor arcanas. Like we can see on cards of Eudes Picard (repainted and colored under the name "Universal Wirth Tarot").

There are a few threads on the forum if you search for them : the aphorisms and other details can be found here:

I already read the aphorisms. Not so easy to translate them to hungarian properly :)

There is a book by Paul Huson (Mystical Origins of the Tarot - From Ancient Roots to Modern Usage) in which I found more information about the evolution of minor arcanas, and also a very interesting idea about the root of major arcanas. You can found a link to this e-book on library.nu site - but only if you register yourself, and type the title of book into the search box... and of course, it is better if you can buy it.
