Using Thoth deck with Waite's Alternative way of Divinition

I have attempted to use Waite's alternative way of divinition ( as found in the end of his Pictorial Key to Tarot....) Although the first part of the reading was a bit frustration....the one which can potentially yielf a "life story", the second part of the divination, where the rest of the 35 cards...by mean of those 35 cards.....eventually...following his procedure...yields 6 lines .....first line 7 cards iw about environment.....2nd line about the subject/Querrent....3rd line..things passing...outside...event..persons....4th line..Suprises..Unexpectation.....5th line consolation....2 cards that moderate the above unfavouable ones....6 line...consult to elucidate the above....

After having done it...I found the 2nd line strikingly accurate....

Anyone tried this before with the Thoth? I this i will experiemtn more with this spread...
