Yep! That might be a little difficult at first, but the 'commonplace' is the theatre of life and the form of incarnation we have chosen (I dont follow the 'fall' theory as far as incarnation goes).

This seems to be part of the Ancient Egyptians appreciation. Normandy Ellis put it beautifully in "Awakening Osiris":
A person is looking out at the daily activities going on in Egypt, very commonplace, they are amazed and ecstatic about life with this vision and are about to speak to their guide. The guide stops them and says "Be silent, for you are looking into the face of God."
