Lowbrow Tarot Majors

Le Fanu

The other thread for this deck (which grew out of an exhibition with different artists creating different tarot images) is in the Deck Creation thread. I thought I'd link it here as it is now up for pre-orders at amazon. This project was brought together by the creator of the Silver Era Tarot, Aunia Kahn.

The images are wonderful (let me see if I can find another link with more info...) and it looks like release is iminent!

ETA; here is the original thread, with the website linked in the first post.

It's on my Wish List.

It says release is scheduled for the 28th October!

ETA: Sorry for the redundancy (this link is available through Le Fanu's link above); I got too excited! I'm on Aunia Kahn's mailing list and have been watching the progress of this project for a while.

This just popped up in my Amazon recommendations at Amazon. I remember taking a peak when this thread was started, but was on the fence...
Now, I find I rather like it. Really wish it was a full deck. Love the Crowley-esque Magician among so many other cards! The Hanged Man is the only card I'm not too fond of. The art for the card is beautiful, but I'm not quite sure how it is meant to relate to the HM's meaning...

Don't laugh - but it took me a while to understand that the illustration on the box is the Wheel! (I think it's the Wheel, anyway.)

Tis. I really like that style of artwork... Wish she made her own!

Still dying for this!

I ordered this the moment it came out on Amazon - have been keeping an eye on it since they did the project. :D
