When I was walking through dealing with a client who wasn't paying (and still didn't pay), I used this advice spread to help me calm down and take the next step. All things considered, the situation resolved to my partial satisfaction--I didn't get paid, but he didn't get the product.

1. What's the situation? (clarifying which aspect to focus on)
2. How is the client/other person approaching it?
3. How am I approaching it?
4. What's the best step for me to take next?
5. What's the worst step for me to take next?
6. What will taking the #4 step lead to?

My deck seemed to have fun with the spread--once it told me: 4. 7P & 5. Devil. The next time it told me 4. Devil & 5. 7P. The time for waiting and being polite & business-like was over...though I never abandoned my professionalism even in bringing the whole thing to a point and taking it back. But it was a bit fun to be the Devil.
