Need help finding a suitable oracle deck...

Bat Chicken

I have to second the Tao Oracle - beautiful!

And the Ogham! As Raeanne mentioned the symbols come in cards (Green Man Tree Oracle, Celtic Tree Oracle) or staves, or you can make your own. In a way you can use it as an alphabet or as a way of using trees, birds, plants directly. I think that it appeals to both the intellect, intuition and the creative. This may lead you toward the Druid Animal or Plant Oracles if you have an affinity for nature.

Raeanne has a great series of threads started a while back on the subject of Ogham... (Yes I am actively recruiting the interested... :D ;) )

Actually I think I might be. I love plant and animal oracles have various ones but I do have the Ogham (gorgeous!) and the Green Man Tree Oracle which also includes the Ogham so I think I might pull those out tonight and come visit those threads. Thanks Bat Chicken!

I received my Piatnik Lenormand deck today and it's very nice (if a little feminine). I like the playing card inserts, which I think are useful for a beginner like me. Yes, a very nice deck that handles almost as well as my Mystical Lenormand deck, which is also a lovely deck.

The first oracle deck that i had was Karma Cards. Mine have been missing for yrs and i thought that they were out of print, but i saw them in the bookstore the other day. Now I am thinking about picking up another deck.

My personal favourites are Froud's Faeries, Spirit of the Wheel, and Well Worn Path / Hidden Path.

However, I'm trying to put myself into your shoes, and if you love the Osho Zen so much, then indeed the Tao Oracle might make a great start.
Another one I really like is one called Zen Cards, be Daniel Levin.
See them here:

I saw a set named Zen Koan cards today which looked intriguing as well, but I don't have any personal experience with it.

Some of my favourite oracles are:

Oracle of the DragonFae
Spirit of the Wheel
Madame Endora
Fairy Ring
Froud's Faeries
Well Worn Path/Hidden Path
Witches Runes

And various Celtic Tree/Ogham orcacles. :)

I really enjoy using the Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Cards by Collette Baron-Reid. Very pretty cards and the meanings jumped off the cards at me when I read them the first time.
