equating Card Plates with Major Arcana

One of the reasons I "crossed over" to learn more about Tarot was when I found this website and its diagram correlating the 90 Plates, or Spreads, from the Science of Cards system with the cards from the Major Arcana.

I am 38, so I am in a Hierophant year. Interesting that Mary K. Greer's Tarot Constellations mentions "direct experience vs. dogmatic faith" in light of my stepping out to see what folks on this side of the fence see when they use/read cards . . .

Basically, the Magi/Destiny Cards or the Mystic Quadrates are a calendar with cycles that give you a "Card Chart" for Life, as well as each Year. The deck of playing cards, in what is called the Pure or Natural order, is "quadrated" and your Birth/Sun card travels through the Spread bringing you various lessons and opportunities.

You can calculate your Birth Card (aka Sun Card) easily.
Birth Card Formula (using playing cards)
M + D = N; 53 - N = (solar value)

Jan= 0, Feb= 2, Mar= 4, Apr= 6, May= 8, Jun= 10
Jul= 12, Aug= 14, Sep= 16, Oct= 18, Nov= 20, Dec= 22

Solar Values 1 through 52; Ace 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K
1 - 13, Hearts
14 - 26, Clubs
27 - 39, Diamonds
40 - 52, Spades

Example, December 12
Step 1: 22 + 12 = 34
Step 2: 53 - 34 = 19, 6C (Six of Clubs)
