Just a thought....

I wonder if there are a few clues buried in the Golden Dawn document Z1: The Enterer at the Threshold.

Maat (Themis) is the Hegemon and bears the split ended Mitre-Headed Sceptre that corresponds to the Pillar of Mercy. Does that count as double-wanded. It seems to have meant that to Crowley.

But following the Equinox of the Gods Maat is now the Hierius (Hiereia) who wields the Sword of Strength and Severity that represents the Pillar of Severity.
