Cary-Yale Visconti Deck: Which Edition should I look for?

The Happy Squirrel

Hi all I have asked this in the deck thread as well so pardon me for being repetitive to those who had seen that. I have to make a decision soon about which edition is the best edition to get for this deck. There seem to be a current edition available but my recent experience with US Games' Medieval Scapini deck, i.e. Their most recent currently available in the shops deck is not very nice in terms of card stock quality. Other modern decks from US Games seems to be made of a variety of different card stock quality so I thought maybe it is just the 2005(?) Medieval Scapini that is bad. But since this is a historical deck (facsimile) I know the wrong card stock is going to make it look very very wrong.

In light of this, would you say the 1970s (I think?) edition from US Games would be my best bet? Or are there any from other publishers that I should be looking for? Or, even, maybe, the current print is OK?

Thanks!!
