good luck with this deck - these cards are super adorable! i really dig the light-hearted feel.

HallowedNight

Oh man, this deck is so cute! I love how the backgrounds are colored but the subjects aren't. It's really different and interesting and draws attention to your adorable Qwirks~ Good luck, I really hope you get through this! :D

Hallowed, I think I have no choice but to get through it... The Qwirks are going to nag at me until at least the Majors are done! It is a bit tough fitting it into all the other projects, but I'm getting faster all the time -- the structure of working through a deck is really helping me as an artist.

Oh, I like this deck! It is funny, whimsical and yet still conveys the meaning. I really hope you will complete it. I love the little funny creatures <3

Still Qwirkin' On It! Here's the Hermit:

I just finished him, and I admit, I'm in love with how he came out.
I can't wait to finish the Majors so I can go back, do proper individual backgrounds and polish the earlier cards up a bit - I've learned so much as I've gone along.

You can see all of the cards (Including the Death & Disaster Deck) scattered through my Patreon Feed, here: https://www.patreon.com/Qwirks?ty=c You'll have to scroll down and wait for images from previous months load, but the cards are there, I promise!

Wow Deaux, just got back from snooping about in your stuff.
(Does that sound a bit creepy?) And I will def be back to keep up with you.
The quirks are brilliant. It is like we all have one of these little chaps lurking inside us. I really love the way you write about them....you are one amusing mutha.
The raven qwoth guy is my fav.šŸ˜š

It sounds creepy only in the best of ways, Ms. Wooden-eye! It's funny you mentioned my writing -- until recently I identified as a writer first, artist second, and I thought I'd be writing up rich and dreadfully funny descriptions for each card as I went. But the writing and the art seem to come from different parts of the brain, and it's really hard to write and art at the same time! Well, except for the Disaster Deck, that's pretty easy to write because it's all DOOM, DOOM and MORE DOOM!

(Qwothe the Raven has a special place in my heart, too. Shh.... don't let the other Qwirks know, they get so jealous!)

(I'm so happy you finally saw this, and like the Qwirks... that means a lot, coming from you!)

Wow, I really fell off the face of the forum, huh?

But I'm still at it!!!

It's taken longer than expected, and I'm just now figuring out the Minors and Court cards, but the first round of Majors are done (Yay!) and about to be boxed up into what I'm styling an "early edition" set. They'll be reworked a bit later on, before the full deck release, but I had some folks say they wanted this, so... it's happening.

I put together a LWB too, and man was THAT a pain. Edit. Edit. Edit. Nope, still too many pages. EDIT SOME FREAKING MORE! Oh geeze I forgot a table of contents. Fine. Edit, Edit EDIT! But I got that done, too... along with two cool spreads and TWO Happy Squirrels!

I'm especially enamored of this busy tailed trickster: https://www.patreon.com/posts/qwirk-tarot-alt-5803813

That Squirrel's card plays off of The World's imagery, so, here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/qwirk-tarot-5551202

And here's the Hanged Qwirk, lest you forget the Qwirks are the center of all this silliness! https://www.patreon.com/posts/qwirk-tarot-4473044

I'm excited. Can you tell I'm excited? I'm SO EXCITED!!!
