Please leave a tarot card behind before the purple curtain falls

Before the purple curtain falls, here is a thread for sharing the name of a tarot card you'd like to leave behind on the ATF stage.

Please feel free to include your reason why you have chosen that card if you wish.

As BlueDragonfly put it in another thread, we are "leaving behind a message for those who come in the future to read, to feel the heartbeat of tarot and what this community has meant to so many."

my avatar kayne took from this card,, the squirrel for the hierophant was too big to do.

once in a while I like my drink,, and I love food,, I resonated with friar tuck especially in rocket robin hood,, and robin hood from the Disney movies
I can still hear him "get out of my church"

I leave you with the 6 of Cups. I will always think of my time here with joy and fondness.

Death. It is my favourite card. Always has been. Every deck I get, Death and one other card is scanned for my catalogue.

I have no idea why. But that was the first card I did for a community deck here. (it can be found in the fourth one which I hear will always be here.)

"The Ace of Wands".

Dear future learners:

Always remember the "Aces" and the "Tens" go from "small beginnings" (Aces) to a new beginning and/or an end of a cycle or completion (Tens).

With the "Ace of Wands" it can be about creativity and projects. A burning desire or spark.

Just so you know I am remembering this meaning from memory, so maybe 4 or 5 years ago and I hardly do Tarot these days. Not since about 2013 really.

But what I like about this card in particular, and I use it in other areas to make a point at times, is that like a "flame" it "burns quickly" and does not last long. So, with it being an "Ace" it can be the start of a relationship based on attraction and desire, but it may not last long and burn out quickly.

Anything really not just love - it is all about fire energy and burning out quickly.

DND

If I could figure it out well enough to post an image here I would do that... and will try to update..

The RWT Magician was my very first favourite card... I'm sure I misread it back then... yet it remains one of my favourites, along with Temperance, and The Hermit! As a 70s RWT was my first brush with Tarot, I became very fond of RWT, and remain so to this day Magician empowers me, but in a way that i hadn't, at first, anticipated I did also like Death, once i got over my initial shock as a young thong, but it repesnetde to me a period of change, which I actually used to enjoy

I leave the Hermit. Tarot for me, has always been about seeking/imparting knowledge.
It's the first card I seek out when looking at "new to me" decks.

And I think one of the less considered traits of the Hermit is his solitary journey toward that knowledge. Many of us are just that in the world of tarot, solitary, with no one or very few in our everyday lives that understand the passion. This forum has brought us a sense of connection/community within our journey.

*damn, here come the tears again*

The Hermit has always been the card I related to most. But having you all around made me feel good.

My card is the Eight of Wands, and it's is a sign that we're soon going to be on the move and almost without warning!! This will be a positive experience with so many new ideas and things to do that we don’t know where to begin, so given a choice that we are now moving to pastures new, this is my farewell to AT!
