Here I have a basic decision making spread but helps me out with making decisions I need guidance for.

1. Signifies the current situation or the querent
2. What goes against the decision
3. What is going for the decision
4. Past issues that may affect the outcome
5. Future issues of the decision
I used this on a spread in which the question asked was,
Should I sell my car to buy a boat?
1. Hanging man - To me this was life in suspension, life waiting for an opportunity to make an appearance. I took this as a positive.
2. The Tower! - I saw and thought, uh oh, maybe not! Then thought on it a little more and came to the conclusion that the tower in every situation can be avoided.
3. 5 of Cups - I absolutely love the car we are to sell, but have no purpose for it, so I see this card as a card of seperation in a positive position.
4. The Moon - money was a past issue that always affected me in the back of my mind, and knowing we are in a much better position now I can see that card 5, the future outcome being the 10 of wands, may signify more hard work in the future to reach the desired outcome.
While I want to sell my car and buy a boat, I can see from this spread, now is not a good time.
