Six. Six is the number of love, equilibrium, balance, harmony, health, beauty and time. It divides the first decade's even numbers (the feminine principle). The six-sided figure, the hexad, is formed by the union of two triangles. It represents marriage and the hermaphrodite, both of which are created by the union of the male and female. The Pythagoreans considered six the perfection of all the parts. In the Tarot, six is the number of its archetype, the Lovers. In the Minor Arcana, it expresses balance through love and emotion, giving and receiving.
