Sadly I havent got a photo of them but I have a wonderful playing deck with pictures of old Chinese calendar girls, I figure if I am going to learn reading the playing cards (which is want I want to do once I move back to England) I might as well do it with an unusual deck :)

See: http://www.char4u.com/product_info.php?products_id=862 as they have pictures of some of the cards

I also have a blue owl lenormand & a mystical lenormand... But they are Not as special as these

Ah Cerulean... antique Patience decks. There are few things in life which I love more than these!

I'm not buying those though as I'm sick of getting stung by customs for things coming in from the U.S!

but I do often pick up these old ragged little decks off ebay uk

I feel guilty now. Do you want them back ? :) Speak now; or they leave the country at the end of the week !

They ARE fun :)
?????
No, gregory! I never used the Key to the Kingdom. That is, why YOU have them now!!!!

The Bregsma ones are the only ones I use - so far,
.... although I see lots of nice things here! :)

There is also a cute one on the same wedsite with a dog that I like very much.
You put them side by side to see the whole picture.

Yum! I have added several of these to my wish list! Dead Eyes and the Bicycle 1800 will be ordered first thing Monday Morning!

I have these 2 decks:

Pippoglyph: http://www.wopc.co.uk/usa/pippoglyph.html

and the Illuminated Civil War: http://www.gentlemansemporium.com/store/000780.php
which has beautiful goldleaf and deadly square corners.

Thank you for sharing those are really nice cards, I am also interested in buying dead eyes and dose playing cards

Oh, I am SO in love with some of the things I see here!! And all I have to share (without photos) of my own is the Hallmark deck with the large ornamented aces and the differently-treated court details...

Setting up a playing-card wishlist is almost too much trouble... But I guess I'd better do it soon before I forget everything I've seen here!

I'd love to see a Hallmark Deck!

I saw in a used CD store they had a box for a novelty playing card set called "Transparent" card decks. I would love to see beautiful aces and something from a greeting card designer.

My mother found some period Pepsi Cola cards, but the logo on the back was the most interesting thing.

I found as a bookmark for 195X Nancy Drew mystery story a Queen of Clubs and the backs of the card was the double-ended navy and white floral with a blue Grecian figure that I could have seen on many standard decks...but the figure and card feel felt kind of different, like an older poker deck from the 20th century. I want to look at playing card designs and backs to see if I can date vintage decks!
