I'm just reading this slim volume - anyone else come across it? Bloom's project in this book is to take the Sefirot as "the working-model for a theory of poetic influence".

Haven't seen it. I only have his book "Genius" and this one with Moshe Idel -

Idel, Moshe and Harold Bloom. Absorbing Perfections: Kabbalah and Interpretation. New Haven, CT: Yale University Press, 2002.

How 'bout a book report when you're done? I some whiner criticizing it
for not being enough about the messiah and god, which don't bother me.
I like the existential approach to QBLH
