RWS Tarot 101 Page of Swords

PAMUYA

Page of Swords

“I face my fears and depressions and risk cutting through them” Greer

When looking at the Page of Swords I see a young man wielding a large sword, It looks as if he is posing with it, a “wanna be”. He has been shown how to use the sword but he is apprehensive, there is no substatue for experience. The birds in the background shows he has many ideas, he is eager to begin, but he is not quite ready to put those ideas into action. He stands on the high ground, he looks at life from his high vantage point, detaching himself from his problems, not planning on taking part of life’s dilemmas. He looks over is shoulder, is he looking to see if anyone is watching him? Or is he watching you? Intellect and detachment can get you to over think things and you may become paralyzed with worry and resort to spying on people. He may consider this spying as gathering information to find the truth.

Being of eloquent speech, he can quickly adapt to new situations, and will express his true feelings, although when he wants he can camouflage his true feelings and intent. A Page can also relate to messages, or to a tough intellectual decision that needs to be made.

Direct: Message, good news about legal matters/contracts/opportunities, full of his own opinions, hyperactive, eloquent speech, spying, gathering information, ideas not quite ready to put into action

Reversed: Manipulation, cannot be trusted, bad news, bad tempered, child that sponges off of parent/friends, lyre, gossiper, unexpected obstacles.
