modern decks without illustrated pipcards

FLizarraga

Well, off the top of my head I can think of three that have not been mentioned: the Trionfi Della Luna, the Marseille Sophistiqué, and the Tarocchi di Marcelo Inciso. Oh, and a fourth: Tarot Decoratif.

I would have mentioned the Pagan Otherworlds, but the pips, while not fully scenic, do subtly allude to Pamela Colman's images.

I tend to actually prefer non-illustrated pipcards. Although most such decks are the older ones, there are some beautiful modern ones that fit the bill. Two I own are:

Labyrinth Tarot - Luis Royo (Fournier)

Egyptian Tarot by Silvana Alasia (Lo Scarabeo)

The only problem with the Labyrinth Tarot is that the cards are rather small, and the top and bottom parts of the border are rather big, so the details aren't as clear as I would've liked with such great artwork...
