6 of cups and Page of Swords Feelings Position

Trying to figure how to read the 6 of cups and Page of Swords in the "feelings" position. I view the 6 of cups as possibly a crush or a past lover returning. I've always related the page of swords as relating to communication so not even sure how it would describe feelings you have for someone else?

So it still shows that there are feelings there but they are looking at the relationship from a clearer perspective vs being consumed with the past?

The feelings aren't necessarily romantic. The six of cups might just be the warm feelings from memories of a time when the two people were having good times together. The page of cups is balancing the nostalgia for old times with the honest memory of *all* that happened, not just the good stuff.

The person is being logical about their past emotions regarding the person. Yes there may have been good times shared, however the person is seeing things from a logic perspective and not an emotional one. So although there could have been some great times between them in the past, that doesn't change the fact that things are where they are now between them in the present. So they're not going to allow past memories to cloud their judgment therefor they're going to guard and protect their feelings from this person.
