Cards of Seduction

EmpyreanKnight

I'm just curious, aside from The Devil, 7 of Cups, Knight of Cups Rx, and Queen of Cups Rx, what cards or card combinations do you equate with temptation, amorous intrigue, and seduction? I'm particularly interested if the cards you will mention did turn up in one of your readings in real life, although personal meanings are appreciated too. Thanks.

Hi, the Knight of Wands in my readings always means flirts and sex :D

I've had the Empress and Queen of coins (who to me is the closest of the queens to the Empress due to her tangible/earthy association) come up as female seduction. Both of these ladies are very *hands on* .... I also had the Q of Coins come up as an escort - so another kind of temptation there.

PAMUYA

Queen of pentacles, the "other woman" or person. For me one of the most consistent cards. When doing a reading on an "existing" relationship, this card suggests their significant other is being seduced, either physical or emotional.

Main cards of seduction is the Devil ( for me), Knight of Wands.
The intention to seduce.

Munin

I would equate the Moon with temptation, as in being deceived by its reflection to give into things you know are not real.

I do too! What's really funny is the few actual Knight of Wands I've had in readings are Libras! All of them!

I want to say ditto on the Queen of Pentacles. She's "earthy", very alluring and in a few readings I've done she has been a seductive type. Also, seven of cups as fantasizing sexual thoughts/fantasies.

3 of Cups can show up as an affair, signifying a third party involved in a relationship, or pointing out a menage a trois.

On the whole, though, I don't pin specifics on any one card alone - I tend to work in combinations, pairs, overviews and the like. I prefer to look at the interactions between cards to tell me what is really going on...

Ace W, 2C, moon, 3C, lovers, devil, knight C, 8W (cupids arrow). Also the king and knight of cups rx are successful serial seducers.

The 5 of Wands for the human "mating dance". The 5 of Wands can represent the sexual tension of an early chemistry between people who are feeling sexual attraction. There's always the flirting, and/or being coy and hard to get and all the other rituals we go through when we meet someone we're interested in and sexually attracted to. The 7 and 9 of Wands represent the other situations in our lives where conflict and being defensive are indicated, but the image on most 5 of Swords cards can often seem like the people are performing or playing a game rather than indicating a serious negative conflict.
