Very nice! I like the pose, and that your Page is actually using the sword instead of just posing with it, as so many Pages do. Makes me think of fencing practice, like he's learning to use the symbol of his suit effectively.

I saw in your other thread that you're using a 3D modeling program. I thought it was a photo with one of those Photoshop effect filters that emulate painting styles.

I like him too. I thought it was watercolour in Photoshop as well !

Hey thanks guys! It is watercolor in photoshop, I do the 3d model and then do the watercolor filter, I would leave it as just a 3d model, but I find doing the watercolor helps with the whole uncanny valley effect. Its actually a 3d model on a photographic background.

I like things about it, but he reminds me of Mowgli from Jungle Book, which is a little distracting. Maybe it's just me though.

Youre right about that I didnt even think that, its supposed to be a roman loincloth but with the filter the details kinda get lost. Hmmmm...maybe a hairstyle change?

Thats what I want, from what I understand, page of swords is all about going and getting whats been on your mind. I want him to look like nothing can stop him.

I am working on my 10 of Swords...

I have done the first pen and ink sketch, though still have ideas popping around - so I know that there will be changes before I start painting... Anyhow, I got sidetracked with the Artistic Journey contest on DeviantArt and (this is almost embarrassing) the preliminary drawing for my card is in my artwork entry
