Earthbound Oracle

I would suggest something along the line of Runes, playing cards or even the I-Ching using coins. There are a couple of dice oracle systems as well that might be fitting. It would really depend on what motivates his interest in oracles.

These are things that are not overly aesthetic and can be carried easily in a pocket. As a guy who love tarot using card oracles fits too but there is something masculine and profoundly pleasing to throw an oracle and read it as it falls.

These two seem more gender neutral too:

A Curious Oracle

I'll second Earthbound Oracle, it's still on my wishlist but it's a gorgeous deck and very definitely not super feminine.

And on that note, branching off from the only other oracle deck on my wishlist (the Color Mage oracle), perhaps a color-themed deck? There's several of them around and a lot of them seem to be affirmation-type things.

Does he have trouble expressing his emotions or understanding other people's feelings? A while ago I came across a wonderful deck that I can highly recommend for this very purpose: the Mixed Emotions Card Deck. The images express the different emotions really well and the cards also have keywords at the bottom (not shown on their website for some reason, but they are there).
Whenever I'm confused about my feelings or not sure what I'm actually feeling at the moment, I consult this deck. :)

it looks good for both my husband and out nephew. I need to talk about things to him first but i liked to be prepared before hand. so thanx.

If you're not attached to just cards, you might check out Alaska Laser Maid's page on Etsy (though she is currently on break until mid-February); she sells all sorts of cedar runes. There's plenty of information on the internet as well as books for understanding and working with the Anglo-Saxon runes or Ogham.

I'm late to the party, but I thought I'd suggest Earth Power Oracle, which is based on sacred sites, and has affirmations. http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/earth-power-oracle/

There's also the Sacred Sites Oracle. http://www.amazon.com/Sacred-Sites-...455231719&sr=1-1&keywords=sacred+sites+oracle

(And the Sacred Sites Tarot, too! http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/sacred-sites/)

I'm thinking these could be good for someone who might like to absorb some geography along with his/her affirmations . . . (Someone like me!)

geology is awsome and rocks rock!

Luna's Crone

I would love to get the earthbound myself. I might get them and show him, how I journal with cards, and use those as an example.

When i take him rock hunting with me.
