<sigh> Weekends count me out for a trip to a Sydney cafe. I'm only available Thursdays and Fridays, and every second Monday. If people were to stay over in the Central Coast, now that's entirely different.

My Mentor, Mary and I are interested in the meeting. If there are no other alternative options, would the "bees knees" cafe mind a bunch like us breaking out cards on the tables?

i don't think they would mind. when i was there with nisaba and gregory, we had decks all over the table, and no one said anything

They haven't, so far! Lutestring and I have gloated over decks and thrown cards around in there with impunity.

edited to add: In fact, it's my experience that no café minds. I only once got odd looks, and that was when I was using an erotic deck, by myself.

Everyone's been dithering in this thread for ages.

Well, I'm going to the Bees Knees for a quiet lunch with a couple of decks, with or without any of you. This coming Friday, probably. I'll try and drag NisabasAcolyte along.

I may be able to get there on Friday but I don't think Mary would be able to make it, she works casual and can't afford to lose any pay lately, though she was quite interested in coming.
Anyone else thinking of making it? The more, the merrier.
Nisaba, let us know if you will definitely be there and what time, later in the week.

As of two minutes ago, I will definitely be there and my acolyte will definitely be there. We're working out our transport issues right now - it's a long haul for us, given that neither of us will have access to a car on the day. We'll have good humour, interesting decks and fun to share.

So is anyone else going to meet up with us, or are the Acolyte and I going to take a long trip just for our own amusement?
