In response to the traditional meaning, this card must've wanted to convey the reliving of past memories and nostalgia for the past. The lady here is looking through a photo album, absorbed in memories of the happy old days. The card depicts a gate which is shut and guarded by menacing angels, a scene reminicent of the angel Uriel who once guarded the garden of Eden against intruders, only this card is set in spooky backdrop (as is a norm for many cards in the deck). This lady sits, note, outside the gate and she isn't let into the happiness within yet.

Disa

She appears perfectly content as she waits on the steps for the gate to open. The serene appearance on her face gives a comforting air to this card, and she seems not to be bothered in the least by the fact that she cannot get inside the gate as of yet. It's as if she knows what's behind the gate, but is fine with the fact that it isn't time for her to enter now.She does seem to be reminiscing about the good times in life, whether it's the story of her life or a photo album is hard to say. Although the pages she ponders may include memories of happy times, she also appears comfortable with where she is now.
