yeah, me too. I have a bad back and weak ankles. I broke my one ankle years ago in 3 places. it always swells up on me when I walk. though, come to think of it, didn't since the new sneakers..........hmmmm...

I also have bad legs. I broke my hips many times--part of my issue and one leg is shorter then the other--so I wore corrective shoes most of my life. Till Imoved out of my parents home when I was 18. They didn't buy me shoes anymore and I couldn't afford them.

Mom is good. She's been procrastinating on getting all of her term papers graded, so she was in her office trying to get things done.

Yira, here are some brands I would recommend, but I'm not sure if the prices are too high. Keen, Earth Shoes, Naturalizer (are ok), SAS (not always very nice looking). Oh, I just found a great website. I'll get a link for you. Hold on.

Oh, they have cute everything. And I kid you not, you will no sooner take your finger off the "submit" button on your laptop when the doorbell will ring with your shoe delivery. They don't call themselves Zappos for nothin'!

Well, she does this to herself. She is always late with her papers. I made her go home and get out of the office. She can grade papers in her PJs at home.
