central card of 3x3 reading

In a reading of 3x3 = 9 cards can you say that the central card gives the entire mood of the reading.

For example, in a reading about someone love life for a certain period of time, if we have in the center the Mice card we can say that the their love live will be characterized by loss, diminished etc.
Or if the central card is the Clouds, their love life can be described as confused, uncertain etc overall.

The middle-card in the 3 x 3 is the central theme because it makes the most combinations. So if you have the Mice the theme would be loss or theft, the Clouds misfortune, trouble or major problems, the Anchor hope, stability and fidelity in love. That’s traditionally how you got your context.

If you have asked the cards to concentrate on an area, which I personally recommend you don’t with the 3 x 3 (I recommend you use a line of five, seven, nine for question-specific readings), you would have to interpret that by context you’ve set.

So in love the Mice would be loss or even ‘theft’ of a partner (check what is to the their left and right as the Mice steal what is to the left causing you to lose what is on their right). Clouds would how trouble and major pain in love and relationships, whereas the Anchor would fidelity. Check the cards around it though. If you had the Clouds by the Anchor the fidelity becomes somewhat fickle.
