The Mice card

So am i then correct in saying that the cards to the left would be spoilt, rotten, because of the decaying food the mice maybe leaving behind ?

So bouquet + mice + fish = losing some money resulting in a gift that is not as nice as you would have wanted to buy.

Does this make sense ?

Or would the left side of the card be the stress and worry side of it ?
