The Lioness Oracle Tarot

aquestionmark

Here's a vibrant collage deck from kickstarter. Interesting name but it seems this deck will have traditional tarot titles and gilded edges. I am hoping the creator posts more images of the cards/deck as the campaign goes along..

Edit: The creator of the deck gives readings under the moniker The Lioness Oracle, hence the name of the deck (guess I should pay better attention to the project video) :)

Just wondering if anyone else uses this deck? I enjoy the dusty gold edges and the silky lamination on the cards.. The somewhat muted colors of the collage imagery really transports me when I am reading with the deck.

The deck feels like a journal found in the ashes of a forgotten trinket shop destroyed by fire.. Each card, preserving the secrets of the shop and owner.. Legend has it, the owner kept the shop filled with roses as an offering to those lost and never found, all things hidden.. it feels celestial, intimate, grounded and mysterious altogether .. Each card, a portal to explore, a way out of the fire..

I'd love to see more thoughts from others on this deck. :) Been debating purchasing it, and can't decide... Some cards are lovely but others just seem odd and silly. Like, a huge rose and a kitten? Okay? Hmm.

I'm with you, Citrin. The card that does that for me is the Two of Wands, two chimpanzees looking out at us from outer space  But like you said, other cards are gorgeous and I love the backs and gilding. I'm curious to know how it reads.
