Vesper

Wonderful and amazing.

Though I wonder what they're going to do about the artwork that doesn't fit standard dimensions. That Emperor, for example, which looks square.

Aunia Kahn

It will be cropped since it is a sculpture, some of the sides will be cut off :)

Gorgeous work! I found about about it via the Hi-Fructose blog. Wish I was still in sunny California... If you don't mind my asking, what were the other entries like and how did you set about choosing each card?

Aunia Kahn

The way it work was I asked artists to submit their style, and why they felt that they should be a part of the project - since tarot is very personal, spiritual and soulful. After close to 1,000 submissions I chose some of the best artists to complete new and original work for the show. They were given many months to do the research and create new work - and this is what they came up with. I wanted them to be artistic, and stick to some of the symbolism but I did not limit them. I am very pleased with the amazing lineup and the artwork!

Thank you for asking!
