Long ago a friend and I were initiated within a mystery religion relatively unknown to society and for many years we studied and traveled to many places learning the intricacies of self work and development methods.

Recently we decided to start a joint project that illustrates what we learned through out the years into a tarot deck. Our deck has a different purpose, while it can be used for the traditional divination, its main purpose is for the seeker to utilized the signs and symbols of the deck and turn them within. Utilizing it as a tool of self development with the ultimate objective of coming to "Know thy self".

These are rather lovely - not least the level of detail. Death in particular - and I DO like a good DEATH ! HP is interesting, too.

Stunning cards..... wow your tarot is on my wishlist, just for the art I have seen so far! I love the hanged man... love them all, and the way different cultures are embraced....

Very expressive, and impressive. I can see there are likely a lot of details most of us wouldn't understand, but the overall effect is very strong. I like them.

Are the pics of the HP and empress mislabeled as each other, or did I see that wrong?

Very original expression of the tarot. I agree with Greggers; that is a killer death, so to speak!

No the woman holding the baby is The High Priestess, so its not mislabeled.

Which was why I said I like it ! (Compare it with the Mary El Hierophant - that makes for quite the juxtaposition )
