Agents that promote Tarot decks?

blackroseivy

Are there any out there? I have looked amongst the literary agents, & they do NOT seem to be what I am looking for. Does anyone have any experience of this?

I ask mainly because St. Martin's Press "does NOT accept unsolicited material" - & I'm afraid that may happen elsewhere. I'd kind of like to be able to submit to them when I am ready.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've been a writer and artist for some years now, and as far as an agent, I think your best bet would be an artist's representative rather than a literary agent. I'm not really sure, though some others on here probably would be.

I hate agents.....just submit it...if it's good it will speak for itself. Good luck!

Lewellyn has some self-submission guidelines on their website. Look at every tarot book/deck you have and then go to every one of those websites and see if they accept submissions.

good luck~

I know that there are places that accept work straight from the artist, but St. Martin's Press does not. Maybe I'll look into an artist's agent instead, then...
