Hi Natalie - Welcome to AT! I'm with you on the other side of the fence on the two decks mentioned here - I have the Necronomicon, use it, and enjoy it a LOT. However I just couldn't get into the Dark Grimoire.
But have you taken a look at the DG? If you like dark decks and enjoy Lovecraft, you might find it just as appealing as the Necronomicon. Since you're new, and may not have discovered the whole site (AT is HUGE), here's a link to the DG page on Aeclectic - with pictures:
