Beginner's Kabbalah: The Four Worlds and the Tree of Life

GnosticTarotCards

Of course the Tarot works well with the method prescribed by Papus. He was responsible for the re awakening of Martinism and Occult philosophy in relation to the Tarot. The Golden Dawn Esque groups are not fond of Papus's contribution to Tarot, even though he was a GD of The Original GD Groups and he chose not to participate in those activities. Instead Papus associated with Saint Yves Alvere , Stanislaus de Guaita and brought his knowledge of the Elus Cohen and Saint-Martin systems into the Tarot. Two other great authors are Valentin Tomberg the Anonymous author of Meditaitons on Tarot, and Mouni Sahdhu The Tarot. Papus also wrote Divinatory Tarot , pulling from some older texts supposedly by Etteilla. Papus was highly indebted to Saint Yves as his teacher, and Levi (Alphonse Constant) as his inspiriation for Tarot being "the absolute key".

Many Blessings on your Tarot journey
