Kabbalah Cards?

Madrigal

While watching USGames site for the PCS in a tin, I came across this deck of Kabbalah Cards Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they 'accurate'? My kabbalistic knowledge is minimal and I'm looking to expand it. I'm intrigued.

I have this deck. And I find it accurate, but you need to know a little about Kabbalah. The booklet that comes with it isn't enough, so I would recommend a book on Kabbalah as well.

Thanks, BE. I'm ambivalent about jumping into a new-to-me system as I feel I'm immersed already in various other lineages. But I thought perhaps this deck might be a way to dip my toe in without the overwhelm factor.

I could do a trial reading for you to see. I've not read with them for ages but have done in the past and it worked well.

That's super kind of you BE. Let me see if I can feel into an area that wants direction. I'll come back and post when/if something comes up. Again thank you for this :D

I don't know if this would be of interest but this is how I'm going to begin to look at Kabbalah. I relate to what you're saying regarding potential overwhelm.
I have Seidman's original Oracle of the Kabbalah. The book is very good (succinct), but the cards are very plain (black letters on a white background).

Madrigal, this website might be of some help as far as the Hebrew alphabet goes:

Joseph Dan's book 'Kabbalah: A Very Short Introduction' is exactly what it says. It is one of the best books a beginner may read.

Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions and links. I did end up buying the cards I linked in my first post but have yet to work with them. I'll be checking out the various sites and books offered up here :D
