I've been quite ill and will return feedback this weekend. Thank you.
Basically yes. There is no need for them to do that. Yell at them, you're in charge, not them, remember that. Just because you're channelling, does not mean you have to accept every thing that happens, and you can tell them to leave if they don't comply. If you're frightened you won't be in charge, but if it frightens you, you probably shouldn't be doing it.

What queenxofxwands said.
Fear is your enemy in situations like that, so you need to be completely fearless and tell whatever it is to take a hike with unwavering confidence and force. Also, you can have a little chat with your spirit guides/protectors/angels/god/goddess etc. and let them know what you'll accept and what you don't.
I once had to shut down my abilities for a little while to give me a break, so I had a little chat with my guides and I imagined myself as a closed shop with a sign that said, "Store's closed until further notice." I didn't think it would work, but it did.
what both Queenofwands and Sibylline said there. You are in charge. I think every medium comes in contact at least once in their medium life with a spirit whom they do not want. So, when you do make contact with one or more--tell them in a commanding voice to leave and not come back.
I have had to do this myself once in awhile, and I have also called on Archangel Michael and my guides to help me by removing this spirit. So, if you feel you need to call for help in doing this, do so. Its what your guide is for and also Archangel Michael. A.M. will always come and help.
Its good that it isn't frightening you. Remember, YOU are the one in charge in these instances.
Sorry to hear you were not feeling well-and I hope you are now better.
