General Timing/Career Spread

I made up this spread for someone's question: How long do I need to wait for my career to take off?

The reading was very accurate with the when card coming up as the 8 of wands. So, I think this spread might also work in other areas if you just change the word career to (love, school, project) whatever. So enjoy!

Just a question about the When. They 8 of wands means 8 months?

Because of the swiftness of the 8 of wands, and with the intution of the reading I suggested quickly, like 8 days.

There are some good posts about timing if you search the forum.

I've always used:

Wands: days/weeks
Swords: weeks/months
Water: Months
Pentacles:Years

Hope that helps

Cups/Water, immediate (within days).
Fire/Wands, with weeks.
Air/Swords, within months
Earth/Coins, within a year.

King = 14
Queen = 13
Knight = 12
Page = 11
