cocopyright infringement warning. all deck artists

Big Warning, for deck designers. There is a download site that has tarot decks for downloading. They are in violation of the copyright laws. here are a few I found through their search engine. I suggest all tarot deck creators check them out and ask to have the files removed per copyright law. They did remove my deck, The Pearls of Wisdom Tarot. after I complained and stated that they did not have my permission to use them. Up to you now

this web site has several tarot decks available for

I found the Pearls of Wisdom tarot on there, and asked to have it removed because of copyright infringement. They put this up today. I suggest all tarot designers check the site for their deck. There is no reason in the world someone should make money off your work and not pay you the creator. Cheers Hexi.

I'm going to spend the money to find out if they really have the files. It seems like, anything you put in search, they have!

Nope. They don't actually have everything they say they do.

It is still worthwhile asking them to remove listings, though, as a preventive measure.

I'm informing Paypal that I didn't get what I paid for, too.

Thanks for checking it out further Hannafate, It is good to keep an eye out there. It seems that they had a lot of cards, perhaps they were planning on scanning if they got an order.... scum bags...

good thing about paypal. do they look into fraudulent sites that use pay pal?

Their search function seems to be set up to pretend to have whatever you put into it, as a teaser. They just want your money.

I am sure, though, that if they DID have a file of your deck, they would have been happy to sell it. Searching for Pearls of Wisdom now gets a "not available due to copyright issues" notice.

Thanks for the heads up, Hexi. How did you complain to the site? I sent an email to Bobbie at USG. I also tried to download one of the files to see what they are like, but they want $$$ to sign up. Probably some real bad scans

And, my antivirus said it's a malicious domain, though for entirely different reasons.
