Visconti and Greek Mythology

While I was studying the Visconti-sforza deck today I noticed that the 'bigger picture' where aligned in correspondence to the ideas of neoplatonism. But also that each card represents 1 story from Greek mythology.

So, my question is: Have anybody written about this in the past? Are there any good books you can recommend?

There are some good threads about books in this area in the book and media section. Not sure if any of them particularly address the Greek Mythology section alone, but there are a few good books on the history of tarot and playing cards and your particular area of inquiry may be addressed as part of that.
