According to Mr. Google, Dori Midnight is a lesbian porn-star/performance artist, Witch. So yeah, that explains the playful yet very ADULT nature of these cards.
Dori does a lot of celebrity readings, intuitive classes, etc.
Hey, thanks for digging that out. Now that I did some of my own googling about Dori Midnight, I've found even more reasons to love her and her work.
(By the way, for those who are interested in such distinctions, the porn films she starred in were not mainstream industry ones but were made by and mostly for the lesbian/queer community. Which is not to say that mainstream porn stars can't be fabulous people, too, or that straight people can't enjoy lesbian/queer-made indie porn.)
At any rate, I'm less and less surprised that her deck and I get on so well...

I think it is always confusing when an oracle deck is called "Tarot" as in the case of the non-tarot Morgan's Tarot. But I guess that helps people know it's a "divination" deck.
Yes, I've occasionally been slightly confused/annoyed by that, too. But I suppose that some deck creators just don't make that distinction like us folks here. Not everybody comes to divination deck creation from having studied a lot of other decks and their distinctions in structure. Just like not all artists come to making art from studying it.
