You can watch the entire episode, which features the Rider-Waite-Smith deck on YouTube in three parts. The first segment is at:

It's a classic "never predict death" scenario - from the Darkside.

That was fun...lol... especially 'cause it was Naomi from Mama's Family (I think that was her character's name...I watched all the reruns as a kid...lol)

Here's a clip I ran across a bit ago...

It's from the HBO show Carnivale... which I never watched... but there are a couple of tarot clips from it... from watching this, I'd like to actually watch the series... apparently it only went for 2 seasons... enjoy... looks like this clip uses a RWS w/ french titles...

I was simply blown away by the sheer number of videos trying to discredit Tarot as a legitimate method of divination. Regardless of the true origins of the cards all I know is that they work. For the life of me I can't understand why people spend so much time and energy ranting about things they supposedly don't believe in. In a period of time when certain things were considered to be heretical, legitimate references and history could have been erraticated. There are many things we don't know about ancient religions due to the deliberate destruction of historic documents and defacing of old religious monuments. It brings to mind the recent destruction of the stone Buddha's by the Taliban. It may be impossible to know the entire story from the fragments we have now, but I don't think the exact facts are important.

More important than whether something is myth or history is the pricipals emobodied in a document, or in this case a deck of cards, is the positive good it can do in people's lives. I suppose that is one thing the nay sayers simply don't get--to look beyond controversies and see whether there is truth or relevance underpinning the images.

This is a series of videos by my fiance, talking about the cards, as he sees them, in the context of the mystic`s journey.

I don`t know if they would count for "best" Youtube Tarot videos, but maybe someone here will find them interesting.

I don`t agree with all of his ideas, but sometimes his interpretations have surprised me, and caused me to see a card in a new way.

I also think that his interpretation and explanation of the progression of the numbered suit cards is particularly clear, practical and concise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPfK7FnBL3k&feature=PlayList&p=45FEEDCAF2EA2B4E&index=3

Thought I'd bump this thread a little. There used to be a girl who did tarot reviews on youtube. She was really very good but I can't remember her name and can't seem to find her. She spoke perfect English but had an accent, sort of Hungarian but maybe Russian, not sure. She had videos earlier this year but can't find them. This girl would review decks and books and she even showed her herb stash and what she would use for tarot readings. Gosh I wish I could find those videos, she had a talent for reading that was very relaxing. Anybody know who I'm talking about? Thought it was worth a shot.

I know who you mean, I adored her clips and bought the Haindl because of her beautiful review. I can't remember her name either but she seems to have taken down all her reviews. Shame.
