These are superb images. Well chosen. My question though is, as you are a painter, why not paint your own deck??????? I would love to see 'your' work as well as these wonderful paintings

Maximo, Oliver Bursten already published the Star and Emperor images
ten years ago in the Lovers Tarot by Jane Lyle--it's a favorite of mine. The deck is ten years old, so I saw the images you used immediately. The Star with the Ingres image is used already, so your alternative would be even better, more
in line with the romantic painters of your other choices.

I don't know that Lovers Tarot but i'll search it right now in the net to see its images...
So Jane Lyle had not author law problems?
And i guess that i should try with find images just in an only line as you say...
i was trying to make an eclectic one, but perhaps is less harmonic...

Now just only do some simple drawing occasionally, but a project thus, I believe that would not encourage me...
But perhaps, after all...I' ll think it !!!
