RunningWild
I don't generally think much of tarot apps, to be honest. I'm more of a "gotta have it in hand" kind of person...meaning I prefer the physical decks. But I saw the advertisement for the app in the Advertisements section and a post on it in the Tarot Illuminati thread and had to see it for myself.
I like it. I like it a lot. The colors are bright, vivid. The detail is there. A side by side comparison to the physical deck shows the things that the physical deck can't.
After the intro screen, the main screen has options for Draw A Card, New Reading, Browse Cards, and Profile.
Under the "Browse Cards" section, you can see every card in the deck and enlarge it to look more closely at the details.
Under the "Profile" section, your options include things like Card of the Day, Saved Readings, background settings, app settings and "Using the Tarot".
Tap on the "New Reading" line and you're given a large choice of spreads.
The text on the deck is by Kim Huggens and drawn from the companion ebook.
All in all, for those enamored by the Tarot Illuminati as I have been, it seems like a worthwhile app.
All for just under $5 USD.
