There are lots of sources I could recommend but they tend to be contained in much larger works. The reason for that is that in Traditional Astrology, Transits are the last thing you look at and only then in the context of more powerful methods. In Modern Astrology, transits are one of the first things that Astrologers will look at. This tends to be because there's very little in terms of more important methods. Dave (Dadsnook2000) would point to Solar Returns (originally a Traditional technique) others would point to Secondary Progressions and a few would mention Solar Arc Directions. Otherwise you have to turn to Jyotish (Vedic Astrology) for in-depth forecasting methods - often forms of time Lords or time periods.
