Lillie's 2 of Swords "Island" Question

Lillie

She was so pretty, wasn't she?

I recently got borrowed a Pamela B, just to look at.
And the island on that is the USG/Albano one.

When I originally noticed this funny island, months ago, I asked what it was like on the 'original' RWS. But I don't think anyone said, and I don't know where that thread has gone now, it's been so long.

Judging by the sun cards, the USG and the Uni books were both copied from a pamla A (or a version of a Pamela A) and are the same in most other respects.
So I supposes the weird island is just an od thing that happened when the Uni books deck was being done.
Though where someone gets that much extra island, I don't know.
It's not like the other ones are vague and confusing in that area!

The seven Princesses picture is lovely. I have never seen that before.
Thank you for showing it.

Isn't it weird how she does some pictures for a deck of cards and over the years they are printed and reprinted so many times all these odd little differences creep in!

I bumped up this thread because today I find the same white island in the 2 of swords of World's Tiniest Tarot Card Set. This tiny deck seems to be a shrinking copy of University Books deck but doesn't mention the names of Waite or PCS anywhere, cards, box or instruction sheet.

As you see, the island is not a smear. Someone did draw it with an intention, but for what purpose? Any idea, friends?

Admittedly it might not be a major issue, but somehow I'm vexed!
