SUCH BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS

HOW DID YOU TAKE THOSE?
in full sun?
splendid works of art in their own right!

precious crystals too

MARINA

Thank you *Blushes*:|

I just put them on a white piece of paper on the coffee table which was in the sunlight. The camera was attached to a small tripod, as I have a habit of moving the camera right at the last minute :D OOOoo and the camera isn't mine which I use, it is my Step-Dad's.

Ooh and ahh's over these:p

Thank you,

I Lurve the swirls and patterns of any Malachite, but for some reason this piece reminds of the Sixties. I think thats why I love it so much as at one point in my 'teens' (OMG I feel old saying that, I'm not even 21 yet *Wail, Whimper*) I was really into sixties fashion and I had a dress with a similar pattern, shame I got rid of it.
As for the Azurite/Malachite I just wanted to put it in the photo with the malachite as they just looked so happy together, as weird as that may sound. I am a big fan of blue and green crystals.

Hee hee hee...

"Imagine me and you, I do,
I think about you day and night,
It's only right
To think about the gem you love
And hold it tight,
So happy together!"

Sorry. Just had to do that. Those are seriously gorgeous. I really love malachite too. Last spring I went to Sedona, and in Jerome (a town nearby) there was a museum that had a rock about 3 feet cubed that was COVERED in Azurite/malachite. That's when I first started noticing and appreciating rocks.

I planning to go to the Natural History Museum in London with my partner sometime this year. http://www.nhm.ac.uk/visit-us/galleries/red-zone/earths-treasury/index.html After I saw these pictures of the museum, I just knew I have to get myself down there :D

Boy, those photos look really professional.

Malachite IS one groovy stone,,,,I love all those swirls.
I see on e bay lots of times malachite that is listed as velvet...are there two different types? The velvet one doesn't seem to have the swirls, and does look to have an amazing testure.

My son will be inheriting all my crystals, and my daughter will get my jewelry.

There's no telling where my cards will go, as neither of them really show an interest.

'Groovy Baby':cool5:

Velvet malachite seems to have a different texture (like velvet :D), so I have read online, I imagine that it feel slightly fuzzy to touch. Whether or not it has different healing properites I have no idea. Not much help I know, but man I want to feel a piece ;)

OOOoo thank you for the photos comment :)
