No I have not done any readings with them....

Yes I have seen the holes punched in them as they were retired decks...should be interesting to see what daughter brings back. Guess I need to learn to read with playing cards :0).....

Update. I have mine now. A change to the order as they had no Caesar's Palace decks. so I have have Palms and Golden Nuggets.

The card stock is very good, could that be because they use mechanical shufflers? I find it very sturdy and until they loosen up they are tricky for riffle shuffle.

Love the Golden Nuggets.

On both decks the diagonal corner is missing and the Golden Nuggets are very tidy, the Palms have taken a little less care giving them the chop which would make them marked if you played poker but for divination makes absolutely no difference. Both have larger indexes than the standard poker deck, and the red is more of a deep colour. I prefer it.

Very happy with my purchase.

Do they have a hole in the centre of the cards (one that matches up with all cards?)

Bee :)

Nope, no hole Bee, the Golden nugget have the smallest bit of corner cut off and it was done mechanically so its still uniform and unnoticeable. I work with a guy who plays poker and he would play with them so maybe not good enough for Vegas, but good enough for his poker club.

The Palms are a little disappointing in that the corners are more rough, but still only small snips and fine for divination, not for poker though.

I'm very happy with them, and they are very cheap! :)

Reason I asked is because I've seen a deck with a hole through the centre. Looks big enough for a finger to go through. Just wondered if it was an ex-casino.

Might start looking for these ex-casino decks - thanks for the description :)

Interesting idea with the casino cards - especially concerning the card stock!

Forgot to say Bee, the Palms are an Aristocrat deck, and the Golden Nuggets are a Bee :) so lovely Ace with Beehive.

A few years back I bought my son a few retired decks. LOL I had to ask him to get them out to see if the corners were cut. Yup! Actually 2 diagonal corners are cut...no holes. I bought these at the grocery store. One is from Silver Legacy, the other El Dorado. Oh and these are also Bee playing cards.

I bought many decks from the tropicana in Las Vegas from the dollar store, nothing outstanding about them but the price- no apples or anything neat like that. I just use them to paste free deck mages that I find on line, they are very useful.
