Ever used regular playing cards?

ShekinahMoon I would have to double check what the deck was called that doesn’t sound right, it was one of those decks that came to me purely to move on to some one else.
One other thing with playing cards, in i think it was the 70s *eek showing age* there was a song *the deck of cards* Its worth a quick read through the lyrics gives some good little points to think about, and general knowledge of all aspects of numbers views and opinions can add to any reading. Readings become stories of peoples lives and anything that inspires us to think is good. The only reason I mention it was when i was reading playing cards years ago, the song just kept going through my mind till i went and looked it up for what i was missing.

I've read that before but I didn't know it was from a song.

It would be neat to have a deck of playing cards with Bible verses on them.

Just as a kid...

when i was in school around the age of 10-13, we had a fortune telling game with playing cards.
It basically was a love life reading for fun, where all the jacks or kings where given names of boys you liked (or queens, if you where a boy) Then the rest of the deck was dived onto the four character cards and turned over. Hearts was love (of course) diamonds was children, clubs where fights, and spades was millions. The more cards of a particular suit, the better (or worse)
Then you would have to chose the one you wanted to marry. The game progressed from there, until it was confirmed if you would really get married. I wont go into details, 'cause it'll just take to much time to explain.
Hope you enjoyed this funny little divination story.

Here's another link regarding the song about a deck
of cards and the Bible (just some more background
to add to Abigail's previous link)...

and other interesting tidbits.)

Here's a deck that has Bible verses on it; the deck
tells the story of Christ's life.
If I'm not mistaken, each card has a verse from the
New Testament...
