Strange. I dont believe I've ever read Crowley's diary or record event of that, I wonder where it is?

The Great Beast ( or was that The Wild Beast) who has a 666 on it's head and on it rides Babylon the Great ( false religion) Revelation is just full of vivid images.
Since leaving my brain dead religion I get all this confused now.
i just did a quick search with the name Charles Taze Russell and Aliester Crowley and it seems they were contemporaries at one point.

I bet you have read it. It's the Bartzabel working from 1910.

No. That was Crowley and Jones' evocation of Buer.

I have a copy of V&V commanteries but not that one ( I think, they are in storage- I'll have to brush off the cobwebs and check it out). I found the refs in Confessions though, where AC was dealing with this issue and newspaper reporters (including the would-be 'flapper-flogger' ).

You can leave the cobwebs alone then. That edition of V&V is the only one with Bartzabel.
